Md Rahat Al Hassan was born and raised in Mymensingh, Bangladesh. After the higher secondary level completion he received his B.Sc in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He also completed the M.Sc in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering in 2019 from the same university. Later on, in 2021 he moved to Japan to pursue the Doctoral Program at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Saitama University. During his Fracture Mechanics focused PhD study Asahi Corporation Co. Ltd. was involved as a collaborator. Experimenting Asahi supplied type III composite vessel numerical modeling was developed for the Al-CFRP interfacial thermal stress fracture cohesive zone parameters inverse identification.
